Serbia has climbed two places in the World Bank’s “Doing Business“ report, and now sits 88th out of 183 countries. According to the report, since last year, Serbia has streamlined company registration procedures and improved access to information on credit capabilities. Serbia climbs two places in latest WB rankings Of the other former Yugoslav republics, Macedonia lies 32nd, Slovenia 53rd and Montenegro 71st. Croatia is down in 103rd place, while Bosnia-Herzegovina is 116th. Kosovo, which was admitted to the World Bank earlier this year, is ranked 113th. Serbia’s best indicators were in the categories for receiving loans (4th place), while the worst area was receiving construction permits (174th).

Of the other former Yugoslav republics, Macedonia lies 32nd, Slovenia 53rd and Montenegro 71st.

Croatia is down in 103rd place, while Bosnia-Herzegovina is 116th.
