Corporate agreements with Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece on the South Stream gas pipeline construction project will be signed this year. This is according to Deputy Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Gazprom Aleksandr Medvedev. South Stream corporate agreements announced for this year In a statement for Russian TV Vesti Medvedev said that the feasibility study for all parts of this important energy project should be completed during 2009. Medvedev said that Gazprom will point out to the European Union the need for the South Stream project to acquire the priority status and that he cannot see the reason why such proposal would be rejected. According to Medvedev, although the markets for the South Stream and Nord Stream projects are different, their realization will be beneficial to all countries, considering the market globalization.
