Serbian currency up 1.45 percent

The value of the Serbian dinar (RSD) increased by 1.45 percent, or RSD 1.26 against the euro on Monday.

The value of the Serbian dinar (RSD) increased by 1.45 percent, or RSD 1.26 against the euro on Monday. The central bank (NBS) official median exchange rate today is RSD 85.5389 for one euro. Serbian currency up 1.45 percent On Friday and over the weekend, that figure was RSD 86.7984 – a record low. The National Bank of Serbia on Friday sold a further EUR 12mn in the inter-bank hard currency market to increase market liquidity and volume of trade between banks, in its continuing bids to prop up the domestic currency. After the NBS intervention, banks were ready to trade according to a much lower rate, and the latest quotes on the market were using the exchange rate of RSD 84.26 for one euro.
