The CEFTA agreement is of exceptional importance for Serbia, Minister of Trade Predrag Bubalo says. The regional free trade deal brings benefit to each individual state and the region as a whole, Bubalo said in Belgrade Friday. CEFTA "exceptionally important for Serbia" At a forum dedicated to CEFTA implementation, Bubalo said that the agreement is "very important for the national strategy of economic development in Serbia through 2012", which envisages a seven-percent increase of the GDP, and exports up by 17 percent. At the same time, the current economic policy creators in Serbia expect exports to increase its GDP share 35 to 45 percent. "CEFTA is particularly important since large portion of Serbia's foreign trade is carried out with region countries," Bubalo also noted.
