During the exercise, pilots practiced operational coordination between the two armies to improve their ability to respond to various regional threats.

The Israeli F-15I and F-35I fighter jets that flew with the American B-52 bomber participated in the exercise, the "Times of Israel" reports.

The Israeli portal assesses that it is an exercise aimed at preparing the Israeli army for a potential joint attack with the US on Iran.

Israel's military has already carried out two strikes on Iran without US support, but will likely need the capabilities of US B-52 bombers to effectively hit Iran's heavily fortified underground nuclear sites, according to The Times of Israel.

On the other hand, the American "Bloomberg" recently announced, referring to its well-informed sources, that during the phone conversation with Putin, Trump spoke about Iran and the Iranian nuclear program.

Top officials of the Trump administration reportedly also discussed it with their Russian counterparts at talks in Saudi Arabia a few days later.

Russia, after the talks between the two leaders, at least as stated, agreed to help the administration of the US president in communicating with Iran about the country's nuclear program and its support for regional "anti-American representatives".
