The summit is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Kingdom of Belgium.

For the first time, such a summit will bring together delegations from 30 countries, industry representatives, heads of research centers, experts, as well as representatives of civil society.

World leaders will gather in Brussels to highlight the role of nuclear power in reducing the use of fossil fuels, strengthening energy security and boosting economic development.

Vučić: We will not be able to survive without nuclear energy

"We have that nuclear energy summit, there will be many European and world leaders, all European officials, so it will be an opportunity for additional important meetings for all of us," said Vučić.

"It is for us to understand how far behind we are and what wrong decisions we made 35-40 years ago, and the importance attached to this summit shows us how much electricity will be lacking in the future, to put it simply. Without nuclear energy, we will not be able to survive. The arrival of AI, electric cars, our increasing laziness in mining coal puts us in a position where we will have to change our legal norms, habits and bring our people from abroad because we don't have enough skilled people and we will have to allocate more financial resources. It will be interesting," said Vučić on the eve of the summit.
