The US embassy in Pristina is concerned over the decision of the Pristina government to appoint individuals convicted of war crimes to leading positions.

"War criminals have no place in Kosovo government"

According to Albanian language newspaper Gazeta Express, the US ambassador said earlier that those convicted of war crimes have no place in the Kosovo government, and that individuals in high positions should be qualified for the job and have adequate high education.

Unfortunately, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's stance in this regard is opposite, writes the daily.
