The systems are 18 years old and would have never been refurbished in all that time, by that I mean updated the frequency signals, so you point is?????
It’s much like remote control garage doors. If you have the same doors for years the signal is the same, but if replace them new ones have a different signal signature. Even a door salesperson will tell you the number of combinations are in the billions upon billions.
The article is more for spin value otherwise Israel would not be concerned over Russia selling the S300 to Iran. It means Israel cannot attack Iran with its airforce.

I usually charge to do research for others, but in your case I'll make an exception. Israel figured out how to beat the S-300. They aren't saying definitively because that would defeat the purpose of deception. Basically keep thinking you are safe with your S-300's right up until Israel hands over the tools to beat it to the USA which will make its way to all NATO members. Silly fool. Israel flies unimpeded in the region. They'e beat Russian SAM's then, today and tomorrow. Russian weapons never perform! Every country thats used them loses their wars! Here is the link below. These S-300 SAM's are good, but they too can be defeated. Israel has already been practicing against it for many years. See the link below. They've already worked out countermeasures. As Sun Tzu so eloquently put it "All warfare is based on deception". Serbia will rely on these missiles and unfortunately for them their reliance will prove disastrous. Serbia simply doesn't have the means to take on NATO. What was an 80+ bombing campaign and capitulation will be cut in half the next time around.
Don't let nationalism and religion divide you Balkan NATO members. You're better than that and you've proven it. There is strength in numbers and those that fight together win together. When you have a cancer that is Serbia festering on your borders you must be prepared to respond swiftly and powerfully. Stay strong.
