FM: Don't reward Pristina for destruction of heritage
Ivica Dacic addressed a UN gathering in New York on Sunday and spoke about the destruction of monuments of cultural and historical heritage in Kosovo

Speaking during a gathering dubbed "Protecting cultural heritage - an imperative for humanity," the Serbian foreign minister said that "vandalism toward cultural monuments cannot be tolerated in any way."
But unfortunately, added Dacic, there has been increasingly more present destruction of the heritage of other cultures, with "the most valuable monuments from human history in the world today becoming the target of extremists."
The condemnation of these attacks carries with it one message - "protecting cultural heritage is an imperative for humanity," Dacic said, citing the name of the meeting he was addressing, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
"We are united in this mission, together we must act with all available means to raise awareness about the importance of the cultural heritage of each individual human and humanity," Dacic said.
He pointed out that Serbia has faced acts of vandalism "since 1999" in Kosovo as part of its territory which, according to UN Security Council Resolution 1244, is under UN administration.
"In the area of Kosovo and Metohija 236 churches, monasteries and other buildings owned by the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as cultural and historical monuments, have been the target of attacks," Dacic said, adding that of these 61 have the status of cultural monuments, and 18 are of exceptional importance for the state of Serbia.
He said that 174 religious sites and 33 cultural and historical monuments have been destroyed in Kosovo, and more than 10,000 icons, ecclesiastical art and liturgical objects stolen, and pointed out that "particularly worrisome is that graffiti in praise of Islamic State and the future Caliphate have been sprayed on protected monuments of culture, precisely at a time when the international community is investing so much effort to counter this evil. "
"Proceeding from the primary role of UNESCO, as an organization whose goal and purpose is the promotion and protection of the cultural heritage of the humankind, the Republic of Serbia is conducting a diplomatic struggle so that acts of deliberate, systematic and vandal destruction of cultural and historical heritage in Kosovo and Metohija are not rewarded by Kosovo's membership in UNESCO," said Dacic.
The Serbian foreign minister is a member of the delegation, led by President Tomislav Nikolic, participating in the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, and accompanying conferences.
"A tough diplomatic battle in UNESCO is ahead of Serbia to prevent the admission of Kosovo to the international organization," Ivica Dacic has been quoted as saying earlier in the day.
Dacic on Sunday evening took part in a meeting of foreign ministers of member countries of UNESCO, and told Serbia's state broadcaster RTS that he informed them about the difficult situation concerning the Serb cultural heritage in Kosovo.
"I particularly pointed out the danger that our cultural heritage in Kosovo is in, presented the facts, pointed out there are four structures in Kosovo under the protection of UNESCO. Of course, apart from this physical destruction, I pointed out to the fact that almost all of them have been sprayed with the graffiti of Islamic State, against which the whole world is currently fighting," said Dacic.
The minister "admitted that a tough diplomatic battle is ahead to prevent the admission of Kosovo to UNESCO."
"Most countries realize how complicated this issue is, however, their states have made a decision to recognize the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo, so that we will have a tough battle in the Executive Board and the General Conference of UNESCO which are scheduled for October and November this year," he added.
"Serbia is pointing out that putting these issues on the agenda before they have been discussed in the dialogue conducted in Brussels is counterproductive and would represent a difficulty in our future dialogue," said the minister.
Dacic also said that "everything possible is being done to point out to the harmful effects of such decisions and the politicization of UNESCO."
"Will we succeed? Sometimes it does not matter whether you are right, but what the numbers are. Currently they are not on our side, but we are pointing out that we are talking about a specific approach to religious and cultural heritage, its destruction, and that it makes no difference whether that is done by Islamic State or anyone else, including in Kosovo," Dacic said.
Dacic will on Tuesday and Wednesday as an envoy of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic attend meetings devoted to "peacekeeping operations in the world and the fight against terrorism" organized by U.S. President Barack Obama.
Kosovo has still not been admitted to UN and many other key international organizations
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
OK, but Kosovo would not be admitted to UN and many other key international organizations if it were to be under Serbia, too. So, again, not sure what your point is!
----------
Greece, Cyprus and Romania will not recognize the rogue Kosovo state.
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
OK, and then what? Should Kosovo give up 110+ recognitions because a failed state like Greece does not recognize it?! In addition, that would not prevent Kosovo from becoming part of the EU.
----------
Serbia will eventually have to choose between EU and the recognition of Kosovo; up to that point, Kosovo is in limbo.
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
Yes, it will be in limbo in Serbia's eyes. It won't be in limbo for Kosovo, the 110+ countries that have recognized it and international law.
(icj1, 4 October 2015 08:21)
You just proved my point, international agreements breached by NATO and the UN in order to set up an American Base in Camp Bondsteel.
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
Russia, among others, is the UN too... So you are saying that Russia breached international agreements (even though I have no idea what agreements you are talking about) in order for an American Based to be set up in Camp Bondsteel?! You are not making much sense mate!
----------
The so called republic of Kosovo has reached substantial autonomy but less than full independence, something which matched UN resolution 1244.
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
Ok, great. So finally we are on the same page that what Kosovo has done (whether we call it independence, province, or substantial-autonomy-but-less-than-full-independence, or whatever) matches UNSCR 1244
----------
US, EULEX and its NATO allies have created the most economically backward region for the only benefit of KLA terrorists who continue to run this region.
(Jugoslavija, 4 October 2015 00:36)
Ok, but for Kosovo that is better than being the most economically backward region AND being run by Serb terrorists. So not sure what your point is!
That being said, you're contradicting yourself. If it's KLA terrorists that run Kosovo, that means Kosovo is fully independent from Serbia. If Kosovo is not fully independent from Serbia than it's not KLA terrorists that run Kosovo. So which statement of yours is correct?
(icj1, 4 October 2015 08:19)
I don't see any Serbian police or custom border guards returned since 1999, that is close to 16 years, there is not reasonable time-frame because it did not happen and won't happen. Its too easy to prove UN resolution to be false to even a two year old.
(Jugoslavija, 3 October 2015 14:36)
UNSCR 1244 says, I quote, "after the withdrawal an agreed number of Yugoslav and Serb military and police personnel will be permitted to return to Kosovo".
In accordance with the UNSCR 1244 provision above, since there is no agreed number, the Yugoslav and Serb military and police personnel has not been permitted to return to Kosovo. Even a two year old can understand that.
I totally get it though that in the Serbian version of UNSCR 1244 the words "agreed number" are conveniently forgotten, but they do exist in the official versions of UNSCR 1244 in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
Now that we solved your perplexity regarding this UNSCR 1244 line, what other line bothers you next so that we can help you clarify your doubts and thus you can finally sleep in peace that the UNSCR 1244 is still in force and everything that happens in Kosovo is in accordonce with it

(check your facts, 3 October 2015 14:39)
You just proved my point, international agreements breached by NATO and the UN in order to set up an American Base in Camp Bondsteel. Check your grammar as I had nothing to do with making any agreements and or resolutions with KFOR,NATO, Yugoslavia or Serbia.
The so called republic of Kosovo has reached substantial autonomy but less than full independence, something which matched UN resolution 1244.
US, EULEX and its NATO allies have created the most economically backward region for the only benefit of KLA terrorists who continue to run this region. This has resulted in over 100 thousand Kosovars in 2015 to seek refuge in Germany and Europe through Serbia.
Kosovo has still not been admitted to UN and many other key international organizations and will continue to face difficulty including Europe as a full majority in the EU has also not been realized. Spain is not likely to switch position with Catalonia;s recent referendum, Greece, Cyprus and Romania will not recognize the rogue Kosovo state.
Serbia will eventually have to choose between EU and the recognition of Kosovo; up to that point, Kosovo is in limbo.

Well I tried your link on two of my computers and the one at my work and all three came up with the same thing.
We could go back and forth and debate your fantasies of how Serbia was in control and forced NATO into the Kumanovo agreement and the UNSC into accepting UNSC 1244 on their terms, but I will leave you with this big congratulations on your success.
1. You were able to not only remove Serbia from all legal control over Kosovo and the forced removal of all police, military and paramilitary from the borders of Kosovo, but you were able to enact a 25 km zone inside of Serbia next to the border that you cannot have any aircraft, and a 5km perimeter also inside Serbia that you cannot have any type of heavy military equipment.
2. You successfully made an agreement that the only personnel that can return must be agreed upon by Kfor and for only limited very menial non police or military functions.
3. You not only established the right to form an autonomous government in Kosovo without Serbian control, you also set up the process for a final status settlement of Kosovo which paved the way for independence which has been recognized by the majority of countries in the world and allows for their membership in major international organizations.
4. You made it to where your elected officials must ask permission to even visit the land you call your province.
So one huge CONGRATULATIONS and may you win a NOBEL prize for your efforts.

Or are you going to continue to make a parody between "agreement" and "resolution"
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 19:22)
Well, "agreement" and UNSC "resolution" are two very different things, so obviously you have to be clear what you are talking about.
(icj1, 3 October 2015 03:16)
jugoslavia,
you gave a bad link but does not matter. You have miscued several things.
UNSC 1244 is a resolution of the UNSC and of the UNSC only, it is not an agreement with anyone. It is not signed by anyone other than by vote of the members of the UNSC.
The link works just fine, check your computer.
So you are playing the parody as well. Let me put in plain words for you, UN resolution 1244 would have been vetoed by Russia without Victor Chernomydin negotiating changes to the original text in discussions with Milosevic. The Kumonovo military agreement is based on UN resolution 1244 on the withdrawal of Serbian troops and the disarming of the KLA. One cannot work without the other, they are not mutually exclusive but dependant on each other. Many buildings, mosques and Serbian and Albanian civilians were killed by NATO bombs, something you conveniently like to leave out. To add one more nail to your coffin, Kosovo is contaminated from illegal Uranium depleted bombs which has destroyed the environment and will increase the incidence of Cancer for its inhabitants.
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 23:49)
jugoslavia,

UNSC 1244 is a resolution of the UNSC and of the UNSC only, it is not an agreement with anyone. It is not signed by anyone other than by vote of the members of the UNSC.
As far as Serbia having added the part:
"Reaffirming also the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia," that is nothing more than BS. By the way this quote was actually taken from a 1244 predecessor 1199 which it was included in all the resolutions calling for an end to the violence in Kosovo. If you check the resolutions on other countries you will find the same phrase with the focused country substituted for the FRY.
It is a common phrase but no where says that it is a guarantee. Besides later in the resolution it lays out the map for the resolution of :status" of Kosovo with consideration of the Rambouillet Accords which envisions a possible independent Kosovo.
Which by the way was NEVER agreed to by Serbia.
Also the withdrawal of forces was through the Kumanovo agreement not a UN document. And the reason Russia quickly withdrew from Kfor was because they would have had to serve under NATO command, as the Kfor commander was to always be from NATO.
Finally, your claims that Serb forces did not destroy Mosques until the bombing is a verifiable lie.
(check your facts, 2 October 2015 21:42)
What agreement mate? UNSCR 1244 is mandatory for all UN members, whether they agree to it or not

Finally, not one of any of your Albanian posters condemns these vigilantes climbing on church walls
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
Not sure what others do, but I have not done that too. I have no time to waste with condemning people (Serbs, Albanians, or whatever) climbing walls otherwise I'd be spending my time on that for 24 hrs a day given how many walls are climbed by people everyday worldwide.
One thing to note though, that if wall-climbing is the worst crime that happens in Kosovo, Kosovo is then one of the safest countries in the world.
----------
You try to blame the Serbian army for razing Albanian mosques when in fact it was NATO carpet bombing Kosovo.
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
Sorry, where did I "blame the Serbian army for razing Albanian mosques"?!
----------
The Serbian army did not raze Mosques to the ground before NATO started it's illegal bombing of Kosovo and the KLA was using mosques as weapon storage warehouse.

Ok, and the Serbian Orthodox Church is being used as a political organization. So not sure what your point is!!!

UN Resolution 1244 did not give the right of succession for Kosovo
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
I did not say it did. According to Serbia, UNSCR 1244 is status neutral and I agree with that because UNSCR 1244 only prescribes the process for the final status, not what that status should be.
----------
and firmly in the agreement entrenched the territorial integrity of Yugoslavia or the successor state Serbia

"if you check the true facts, you will see that Milosevic begged the UNSC NOT to enact resolution 1244. Serbia did not sign anything"
It seems to me you are suffering from amnesia, let me help you a bit. UN resolution 1244 is mostly based on the Marti Ahtisaari's plan and the Rambouillet "ultimatum" presented to the Serbs. Ahtisaari negotiated alongside Viktor Chernomyrdin with Slobodan Milošević to end the fighting in the Yugoslav province of Kosovo in 1999.Slobodan Milosevic eventually was forced to agree and sign as Boris Yeltsin and Russia would not support Yugoslavia military or politically. Milosevic managed to get a few concessions included a clause written into the agreement namely the "guarantee to territorial integrity of Kosovo within Yugoslavia" as well as Russian representation of KFOR forces which disappeared quickly. Without UN resolution 1244, there would not have been a technical agreement with NATO General Sir Michael Jackson and the Serbian military for the pull out of Serbian Tanks and forces from Kosovo with the replacement of KFOR forces and the guarantee of protection of Serbian and Albanian civilians which never happened resulting in more ethnic cleansing of Serbian civilians. The original agreement and document enclosed below which clearly states the parties including the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
UN Resolution 1244 did not give the right of succession for Kosovo and firmly in the agreement entrenched the territorial integrity of Yugoslavia or the successor state Serbia as well as the return of some Serbian troops to cultural and border sites. So only US and NATO with it's KFOR forces reneged on a signed agreement. So don't try to sell us with your false facts.
Speaking of false facts:
Kfor, US, and NATO did not reneged on any agreement.
First there was no agreement, Serbia was neither asked nor agreed to anything, if you check the true facts, you will see that Milosevic begged the UNSC NOT to enact resolution 1244. Serbia did not sign anything,
Second, Serbia has never submitted a request for any of its personnel to return to Kosovo to perform the very limited duties that would have been allowed. It is not that Kfor did not agree, but they never were asked to agree to a number of returning forces. Of course at this time 16 years later there would never be an agreed number allowed.
(check your facts, 30 September 2015 21:58)
10 June 1999 that, as desribed by Serbia's own words, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia renounce a part of its sovereign territory and created a separate political and economic system opening up the possibility of the secession of Kosovo and Metohija from Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
But, I guess your point is that the entire international community was wrong and you're right :)
(icj1, 30 September 2015 04:01)

(factman, 30 September 2015 05:03)
I agree 100%, I do not condone the destruction of religious structures. But I also do not think that if you burn my house down, you do not have the right to condemn me if I burn yours down. Now a third party has the right to condemn both, but in this argument Serbia should just sit quietly in the corner, and hope no one highlights the elephant in the room and asks Serbia the question that if Kosovo does not belong in UNESCO because they have destroyed Serbian churches then why should Serbia be there when it is documented that they destroyed Albanian mosques.
(a New day, 30 September 2015 13:57)
...have accepted the idea that the only "solution" for Kosovo is to detach it formally from democratic Serbia
(Jugoslavija, 29 September 2015 22:06)
So democratic in fact that the Serbian government decided to erase a whole ethnicity in Kosova (Albanians), who constitute more than 90% of the population from the voters list; on a referendum pertaining the change of the Serb Constitution that unilaterally, in the middle of status negotiations attempted to set the status of Kosova, without the voice of 90% of those that live in Kosova. This is democratic only in the unicorn land of Serbia. It doesn't fly anywhere else.
(j, 30 September 2015 13:24)
Facts on the ground shot that the oldest heritage in Kosovo-Metohija are Serbian Churches & Monasteries. There is other heritage too, namely Ottoman mosques. But UNESCO 4 Serbian Monasteries as "world heritage". It's also a fact that many of these institutions have been razed and greatly damaged by the KLA institutions that the NATO sponsors want to join UNESCO.
(Ari Gold, 29 September 2015 03:23)
Haha, nice attempt to have your cake and eat it too... If the only heritage has been the 4 Monasteries, then no heritage has been destroyed because the 4 Monasteries are still there.
If the heritage includes stuff other then the 4 monasteries, there is certainly heritage (like stuff from the Roman times) which is older than Churches and Monasteries. Time did not start when Serbs arrived in the Balkans - if somebody told you that, you've been grossly misled.
A final note that I've not heard about any "KLA institutions" applying to join UNESCO. Do you have any evidence, like a letter from "KLA institutions" to UNESCO that shows that?!
(icj1, 30 September 2015 04:10)
Still, incredibly, NATO, U.S. government and important voices in Congress -- have accepted the idea that the only "solution" for Kosovo is to detach it formally from democratic Serbia

(icj1, 30 September 2015 04:01)
Here you go in just one city so please remove Serbia from UNESCO, the old part of town was very important to residents.
So why its always one type of math for Serbs and other for Albanians? Did Serbs burn anything in Bosnia? Croatia? Sorry but each heritage is important not just Serbian but we know when Dacici starts talking about we are doing our best but there is a lot of pressure we know the outcome :)
Unesco then Uefa
(Gjakova, 30 September 2015 02:40)
First at all: DESTROY their cultural heritage!!!!!!!!
===…==
So what is your cultural heritage? We have asked you Albanians this a million times already but nobody has yet come up with one thing. What was destroyed that was your cultural heritage?
Still waiting for an answer?
(Peggy, 30 September 2015 01:48)
"Muslim Terrorists Albanians Destroy Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo
Illegal muslim immigrants from Albania destroyed more than 150 churches in Kosovo in March 2004. USA and England rewarded them by recognizing their illlegal and immoral independence in Serbian holy land of Kosovo.
The truth about Kosovo -- jihad terrorism, organized crime (drugs, weapons, sex slaves -- including children!), destruction of churches and attacks on Christian Serbs by Muslim Albanians -- is becoming impossible to ignore. Still, incredibly, NATO, U.S. government and important voices in Congress -- have accepted the idea that the only "solution" for Kosovo is to detach it formally from democratic Serbia and create an independent Islamic state!
THANK YOU USA FOR KILLING US!"
Nice try. Maybe it serves no use for Albanians but they have a purpose for the Serbs.
So all those churches and monasteries that were destroyed had no use? Let me tell you what has no use. That statue of Clinton. Now that should be blown up but not before someone uses it as a toilet first.
(Peggy, 29 September 2015 13:42)
The key is they are NOT being used by Serbs that is the reason they are falling in and vacant and people use them as toilets.
As far as the churches and monasteries that were destroyed, they were as important as the many mosques that were destroyed. NEITHER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
The last time there was a mass attack on Serbian churches was in 2004 which was only 5 years later than the Serbian mass attack on Mosques, do I see a difference--absolutely not.
You say, If you behave the way I did, then you are animals, but what does that say about you who did it first?
If that is a just reason to keep Kosovo out of UNESCO, why should Serbia be allowed to remain a member?
(think about it, 29 September 2015 15:06)
Have i to remind to you the old serbian "PROPAGANDA" of HOW TO DESTROY THE ALBANIANS. ( i'm able to show to you even the manuscripts if you want )
ATTENTION!!!
First at all: DESTROY their cultural heritage!!!!!!!!
So, for sure you don't know what are you talking about!
Albanians have old monasteries and old Churches even in south Italy - for example.
Are part of Italian heritage. Italians did not destroy those.
You too, have monasteries in Greece - are part of Greece heritage.
I don't know to much about Vojvodina - but even Hungarians should have something there - if it's not flattened out, like it happened in Kosovo.
And if they have – are part of Hungarian or Serbian heritage?
(Joni, 29 September 2015 13:57)
Every piece of Serbian property that serves no use, does not need to preserved as a Shrine in rememberance of a people who wanted to destroy the people of Kosovo.
===…==
Nice try. Maybe it serves no use for Albanians but they have a purpose for the Serbs.

(Peggy, 29 September 2015 13:42)
First they destroy and use our churches as toilets and then want someone to trust them with their preservation. Also they claim that these churches are actually Albanian churches taken over by Serbs but have no problem using them as toilets.
(Peggy, 29 September 2015 01:03)
First Peggy, what does joining Unesco have to do with preservation of abandoned buildings that once were churches? If you look on the list of UNESCO heritage sites, each country has a few sites that have been approved. There are 4 sites in Kosovo none of which are being used as toilets. UNESCO nor its membership has anything to do with an abandoned church in Australia, US, UK, or Kosovo.
I agree they should not be used as toilets, these abandoned, dilapidated, safety hazard eyesores should all be bulldozed, but can you imagine the uproar in Serbia. They would assimilate it to the Holocaust.
Now back to UNESCO, heritage sites is but one small part of UNESCO.
But do you not think as a member of UNESCO, the pressure would not be greater on the Albanian led government to protect these sites(should they remain on the registry)
Every piece of Serbian property that serves no use, does not need to preserved as a Shrine in rememberance of a people who wanted to destroy the people of Kosovo.
(think about it, 29 September 2015 12:53)
We'll see whether international sponsors can push through another injustice in another desperate attempt to treat this failed project as some sort of real state.
So justice says the KLA shouldn't be in UNESCO. But sometimes justice doesn't always prevail. One thing is for sure, none of you clowns on here will decide what happens regardless.
(Ari Gold, 29 September 2015 03:23)
We all know that the battle that Serbia is fighting to keep Kosovo out of UNESCO is more due to the fact that it is one more major acceptance of Kosovo as an independent state from Serbia and has very little to do with Serbian heritage.
But for Serbia whom the world has vast knowledge of their actions of ethnic cleansing throughout Yugoslavia, not just Kosovo and the Albanians to use this reasoning is mind boggling. Serbs tried to not only remove all Albanians from Kosovo physically, but also erase any trace of their religion and cultural existence in Kosovo during the 90's and now cries to the people of the world that Kosovo should not be admitted to UNESCO because they allege that Albanians are trying to do what is documented actions of the Serbs. What can one say to that?
I truly believe that most all of the world can see through this charade, and Dacic is wasting his time.
(a New day, 29 September 2015 03:11)
One only has to observe the public behavior of Serbs to realize that we are dealing with a primitive and barbaric culture. Watch any video on You Tube where Serbs are interacting with another ethnic group to witness what the rest of the world knows about Serbs' violent actions. In particular, I direct you to a Soccer/Futbol match on You Tube between Serbia and Albania played in Belgrade on October 2014. This will remove all doubt regarding the state of Serbian "culture". If this is not enough, simply view the behavior of Serb goons at a Gay Parade or watch Serb Chetniks in action when they destroyed foreign embassies in Belgrade. The evidence is endless. And, they want to prevent another country from joining UNESCO!!!

Here is what a good Serbian journalist would do: Go down to Gracanica and the other Serbian Orthodox churches and ask the directly involved with the issue, the orthodox priests and so on, what do they think about Kosovo joining UNESCO. I would be really interested to see their thoughts about this. Will they hope for additional UN funds and support to repair, maintain their monuments and historical buildings? Or will they follow the (political) tune of Belgrade?
The Serbian Orthodox Church is usually a lot louder about other issues that do not involve it directly, like traitor politicians who should be skinned/burned alive and other medieval gore like this. Why is it being silent now?
People should not forget that there is additional heritage in Kosovo not directly linked to the Serb ethnicity. Prizren and its architecture for example. Gjakova was also beautiful before Serbian troops raised it to the ground. UNESCO does not deal only with churches.

Serbians have destroyed Albanian heritage in Kosovo as well, how can you play the victim role and fish for double standards? A bit hypocritical don't you think?
Croatias churches ee e decimated by serbian military, so serbia has no chance to talk down on anyone for the same crimes they've committed as well.

But if accuse that Pristina for destructing the heritage - it actually is not true..
Because Prishtina is building and bringing peace, integrating minority's.. This is what Kosovo is been praised for at any meeting.
If you say - don't reward because corruption then you are right. Because in Kosovo corruption is the rrotten root and should be punished and the death penalty should be back only for that.

In german newspapers today you can read clearly that it is the Albanians, who are fleeing their homes, causing the biggest problems. We'll see whether international sponsors can push through another injustice in another desperate attempt to treat this failed project as some sort of real state.
So justice says the KLA shouldn't be in UNESCO. But sometimes justice doesn't always prevail. One thing is for sure, none of you clowns on here will decide what happens regardless.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
Still, incredibly, NATO, U.S. government and important voices in Congress -- have accepted the idea that the only "solution" for Kosovo is to detach it formally from democratic Serbia
(Jugoslavija, 29 September 2015 22:06)
Not just NATO, U.S. government and important voices in Congress, but Russia and the entire international community decided on 10 June 1999 that, as desribed by Serbia's own words, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia renounce a part of its sovereign territory and created a separate political and economic system opening up the possibility of the secession of Kosovo and Metohija from Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
But, I guess your point is that the entire international community was wrong and you're right :)
(icj1, 30 September 2015 04:01)
...have accepted the idea that the only "solution" for Kosovo is to detach it formally from democratic Serbia

(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
Ok, and the Serbian Orthodox Church is being used as a political organization. So not sure what your point is!!!
(icj1, 2 October 2015 02:00)
First at all: DESTROY their cultural heritage!!!!!!!!
===…==
So what is your cultural heritage? We have asked you Albanians this a million times already but nobody has yet come up with one thing. What was destroyed that was your cultural heritage?
Still waiting for an answer?
(Peggy, 30 September 2015 01:48)
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 23:49)
(check your facts, 3 October 2015 14:39)
Now that we solved your perplexity regarding this UNSCR 1244 line, what other line bothers you next so that we can help you clarify your doubts and thus you can finally sleep in peace that the UNSCR 1244 is still in force and everything that happens in Kosovo is in accordonce with it
(icj1, 4 October 2015 07:54)
UN Resolution 1244 did not give the right of succession for Kosovo
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
I did not say it did. According to Serbia, UNSCR 1244 is status neutral and I agree with that because UNSCR 1244 only prescribes the process for the final status, not what that status should be.
----------
and firmly in the agreement entrenched the territorial integrity of Yugoslavia or the successor state Serbia
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
Of course, and I'm not aware of any country which has violated Serbia's territorial integrity since UNSCR 1244 was approved.
----------
as well as the return of some Serbian troops to cultural and border sites.
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
yes, but only an "agreed number"... when that number is agreed, they can return

So only US and NATO with it's KFOR forces reneged on a signed agreement. So don't try to sell us with your false facts.

What agreement mate? UNSCR 1244 is mandatory for all UN members, whether they agree to it or not
(icj1, 2 October 2015 01:58)
Now that we solved your perplexity regarding this UNSCR 1244 line, what other line bothers you next so that we can help you clarify your doubts and thus you can finally sleep in peace that the UNSCR 1244 is still in force and everything that happens in Kosovo is in accordonce with it
(icj1, 4 October 2015 07:58)

10 June 1999 that, as desribed by Serbia's own words, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia renounce a part of its sovereign territory and created a separate political and economic system opening up the possibility of the secession of Kosovo and Metohija from Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
But, I guess your point is that the entire international community was wrong and you're right :)

Finally, not one of any of your Albanian posters condemns these vigilantes climbing on church walls like a bunch of monkeys and the burning of Serbian monasteries in 2004 while KFOR watched. You try to blame the Serbian army for razing Albanian mosques when in fact it was NATO carpet bombing Kosovo. The Serbian army did not raze Mosques to the ground before NATO started it's illegal bombing of Kosovo and the KLA was using mosques as weapon storage warehouse.
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
jugoslavia,
you gave a bad link but does not matter. You have miscued several things.
UNSC 1244 is a resolution of the UNSC and of the UNSC only, it is not an agreement with anyone. It is not signed by anyone other than by vote of the members of the UNSC.

Serbia is going to lose because it signed the Brussels agreement which said Serbia supports Kosovo membership in all international organizations. In fact Serbia must vote for Kosovo in unesco or not vote but it can't vote against Kosovo in unesco just like it didnt vote against Kosovo in IOC.

Kosovo battle has been lost long ago by Serbia.
There is no doubt serbian heritage has been destroyed in Kosovo, but no where nearly as these inflated numbers mentioned by Dacic.

Last cry....lost.
My advice: your message should be- cooperate and dialogue then message will get there somehow.

These stories about Albanians always get the most comments. So much hatred in Serbian society for Albanians. I guess it's just villagers being villagers.

(Reader, 28 September 2015 19:33)
I was starting to worry. For a while, Croatia was getting all the attention from the Serb politicians. Thank god, they're now starting to mention Kosova again.

I think you are reading comments from non Serbs and linking them to Serbs.
Have a better look.
Albanians are such funny people. First they destroy and use our churches as toilets and then want someone to trust them with their preservation. Also they claim that these churches are actually Albanian churches taken over by Serbs but have no problem using them as toilets.
Do they really think that they have any credibility with anyone except their own kind? Even other Serb haters like Croats don't respect them but only pretend to in order to gain more support against the Serbs. We are not stupid, we can see your deeds so your words don't mean anything.
(Peggy, 29 September 2015 01:03)
(EU Citizen, 29 September 2015 01:48)
We'll see whether international sponsors can push through another injustice in another desperate attempt to treat this failed project as some sort of real state.
So justice says the KLA shouldn't be in UNESCO. But sometimes justice doesn't always prevail. One thing is for sure, none of you clowns on here will decide what happens regardless.

Guess who is sympathizing with Serbs right now, Lenny?

If the heritage includes stuff other then the 4 monasteries, there is certainly heritage (like stuff from the Roman times) which is older than Churches and Monasteries. Time did not start when Serbs arrived in the Balkans - if somebody told you that, you've been grossly misled.

Do you really want me to go line by line where the resolution is being breached?
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 19:22)
yes, of course! I have no idea how otherwise you are going to prove your argument!!! I hope you're not saying that it's my job to prove your arguments lol
I already rejected your line by line allegations of UNSCR 1244 alleged violations that you wrote on 30 September 2015 17:39. Do you have any others so that we can clarify those as well and you can finally go and have a good sleep that no UNSCR 1244 provisions have been violated by Kosovo at any time.
----------
Or are you going to continue to make a parody between "agreement" and "resolution"
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 19:22)
Well, "agreement" and UNSC "resolution" are two very different things, so obviously you have to be clear what you are talking about.
(icj1, 3 October 2015 03:16)
What agreement mate? UNSCR 1244 is mandatory for all UN members, whether they agree to it or not

Do you really want me to go line by line where the resolution is being breached? Are you smart enough to figure it out? Or are you going to continue to make a parody between "agreement" and "resolution"
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 19:22)
jugoslavia,
you gave a bad link but does not matter. You have miscued several things.
UNSC 1244 is a resolution of the UNSC and of the UNSC only, it is not an agreement with anyone. It is not signed by anyone other than by vote of the members of the UNSC.
Now that we solved your perplexity regarding this UNSCR 1244 line, what other line bothers you next so that we can help you clarify your doubts and thus you can finally sleep in peace that the UNSCR 1244 is still in force and everything that happens in Kosovo is in accordonce with it
(icj1, 4 October 2015 07:58)
(Jugoslavija, 2 October 2015 23:49)
(check your facts, 3 October 2015 14:39)
Here you go in just one city so please remove Serbia from UNESCO, the old part of town was very important to residents.
So why its always one type of math for Serbs and other for Albanians? Did Serbs burn anything in Bosnia? Croatia? Sorry but each heritage is important not just Serbian but we know when Dacici starts talking about we are doing our best but there is a lot of pressure we know the outcome :)
Unesco then Uefa
(Gjakova, 30 September 2015 02:40)
Two wrongs don't make a right.
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
Ok, and the Serbian Orthodox Church is being used as a political organization. So not sure what your point is!!!
(icj1, 2 October 2015 02:00)

----------
So only US and NATO with it's KFOR forces reneged on a signed agreement. So don't try to sell us with your false facts.
(Jugoslavija, 30 September 2015 17:39)
What agreement mate? UNSCR 1244 is mandatory for all UN members, whether they agree to it or not
