Serbian, Cypriot leaders exchange state decorations
BELGRADE -- Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić welcomed on Wednesday in Belgrade his Cypriot counterpart Dimitris Christofias.

After the meeting, the Serbian president presented Christofias with the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a sash, and received from him the Grand Collar of the Order of Makarios III.
"The president of the Republic of Serbia delivered a decree on granting a decoration for contribution to fostering and strengthening peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Cyprus, that is the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a sash,“ Chairman of the Commission on Decorations Oliver Antić said.
The first Serbian-Cypriot summit is being held in Belgrade on Wednesday. The Cypriot president and Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dačić are presiding over the meeting.
