MUP border police officers on Sunday arrested one person and confiscated five kilograms of heroin. The suspect, identified as Gashi Dzevahire, traveling on a German passport, was detained at the Horgos border crossing between Serbia and Hungary. Policemen found the drugs hidden in a bag under the seats, divided into ten packages containing 500 grams of heroin each. However, police strongly suspect that Dzehavire's German passport is a forgery. The suspect will now be brought before an on-duty judge along with criminal charges filed against her, a MUP statement said.

The suspect was traveling with a child on the Peć-Frankfurt line, aboard a bus with German license plates.

Policemen found the drugs hidden in a bag under the seats, divided into ten packages containing 500 grams of heroin each.

However, police strongly suspect that Dzehavire's German passport is a forgery.

The suspect will now be brought before an on-duty judge along with criminal charges filed against her, a MUP statement said.
