Sansa Adino Address: Tasmajdanski Park, Belgrade Tel: +381-11-322-35-63 Working hours of the restaurant and kitchen: from 9 a.m. to midnight (kitchen open from noon to 10 p.m.) City transportation: bus: 26; tram: 2, 6, 7, 14 Credit cards: Visa Garden or terrace: yes, 200 seats Parking: 2nd zone Access for disabled: yes Music: from CD Menu: in Serbian and English Staff speak: English Main courses: from 400 to 700 dinars In most cases, they chat while drinking coffee rather than eat, which is a pity because we know for sure that here you can sample probably the best brusquettes with shrimps - crunchy bread filled with a handsome quantity of tomato sauce and meaty shrimps, served four pieces in a portion. The veal pottage was exceptionally tasty, although some tough pieces of meat got mixed in. Counting on the fact that at this place you will take something light, and not any of meat dishes, we decided to try tagliatelle with salmon which were really good. The sauce based on neutral cream combined beautifully with the fish, green peas and pasta, and the portion was big enough to satisfy even the hungriest of guests. We recommend the extra quality chicken salad as the main course, since it is nicely arranged, with triangles of focaccie, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, chicken with dressing based on honey and vinegar, absolutely refreshing and tasteful. Pizza primavera brings a tasty crust with pellatti and mozzarella, while the middle part is adorned with lettuce (rocket salad would be even better) and slices of excellent prosciutto – in one word – wonderful. For the end, espresso and two pies — one with apples and the other with sour cherries. Unfortunately, they were not on the same high level as the rest of our lunch. The first was rather pale and dull, served with whipped cream and vanilla ice-cream, and the second was too sour with cherries overpowering the dough. Nevertheless, the two pancakes with apples and cinnamon were tasteful and a fine ending to our lunch. If you are not able to finish your lunch on the spot, the waiters will pack leftovers in bags. The interior dining area has been renovated recently; the surroundings are pleasant, service is kind and prices are correct – all good reasons for us to come back again. Meal for two, with deserts, costs up to 2,000 dinars. Café-restaurant Sansa has for decades been operating in probably the most beautiful park in Belgrade, Tasmajdan, and when the weather is nice, the garden becomes full in no time at all with guests of all generations.
