The minister emphasized that the surface-to-surface missile was developed by Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization. The Fateh-110 is a single-stage solid-propellant, surface-to-surface missile put into service in 2002. The earlier version of the domestically produced missile had a range of 200km. The missile is of particular interest to Israel since Hezbollah has hundreds of M600 missiles, which are copies of the Fateh-110.
