Serbia tops Group B in EuroBasket 2015

Serbia's 101-82 victory over Italy secured it the top spot in Group B of the EuroBasket competition currently under way.

Serbia tops Group B in EuroBasket 2015

"We have passed the group stage and that is the most important thing. The score is not really important. And I can tell you that it is nice to be Serbian at this moment," Djordjevic told reporters in Berlin on Thursday.

"The guys' attitude is just excellent. They have given their best and that brings us peace and composure ahead of the coming matches," said Djordjevic.

He said that the team wanted to secure itself a spot in the Rio Olympics and they would try to forget about the group stage as soon as possible as Serbia was about to face tough opponents.

Serbia will next play Group-A's fourth-placed Finland in Lille, France, on Sunday.
