INHOPE is an organization formed in December 1999 by internet mechanisms operators from the area of ​​the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Great Britain, Austria, Ireland, Finland, Spain, and France. Net Patrol joins INHOPE network The creation of the international coalition has helped establish effective mechanisms to combat illegal materials that have experienced an expansion, assisted by the rapid development of the internet and communication technologies. The basic values ​​of INHOPE are free internet, dedication to positive ways of its use, and a stance that the safety of children online should be the joint work of responsible state institutions, teachers, parents, and internet industries. Since 1999, the network has been joined by internet mechanisms operators from around the world, including countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. Net Patrol is an electronic mechanism for reporting illegal, harmful and inappropriate content and conduct on the internet, one of the components of the Safer Internet Center project "Click Safely." The project has been implemented in Serbia since 2013 by the B92 Fund B92, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, with the financial support of the EC Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology CONNECT, and the Telenor Foundation. By joining INHOPE, the Net Patrol hotline will establish important international cooperation and exchange of relevant experiences and best practices through regular communication and exchange of information on the latest threats and the best answers to them, with the aim of educating and informing citizens, especially children and youth, their parents, teachers and other internet users, about the benefits and risks of the use of information and communication technologies. It will also help promote the safe use of new technologies, and protect citizens from illegal, illicit and harmful content and conduct on the internet, especially material depicting sexual abuse of minors.
