The 25th Belgrade Marathon started at 10:00 CET on Sunday. Democratic Party (DS) candidate for president Boris Tadic was among the participants. 25th Belgrade Marathon kicks off There were 2,328 competitors from 35 countries at the starting line, in both marathon and half marathon categories, which broke the 2005 record of 1,833. The Fun Run started 5 minutes later, with over 20,000 participants, including former Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic and Deputy Mayor Aleksandar Sapic.
