The two injured persons were taken to the Emergency Center and the hospital’s Spokesman Drago Jovanovic has stated that a 25-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man underwent surgeries during the night. Two vehicles were involved in the accident that took place around midnight – a BMW and a Yugo. The two women, who died instantly, were inside the BMW. Daily Blic has unofficially learnt that the BMW driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and that he ran several red lights. According to the daily, he was driving 200 kilometers per hour when the accident happened. He was not injured.
