Red Star Belgrade football club reached the play-off round in the 2011-12 Europa League qualifications. The team beat Latvia's FK Ventspils 7-0 in the second leg of their third round qualifier late on Thursday. Red Star reaches Europa League play-offs Scorers were Martinez - own goal in the 13th minute, Kaluderovic (20th and 23rd), Lazovic (26th), Borja (41st and 75th), and Mezenga (60th). Red Star was leading from the first leg 2-1. In the play-offs, Red Star will face Rennais of France, a draw at UEFA headquarters decided on Friday. Earlier in the week, Serbian Champions Partizan FC failed to qualify to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Belgium's Genk.
