The newspapers today mostly lead with Guca, strong dinar, and various fugitives from justice stories. ALO—"Strong dinar paid for by ordinary folks", the tabloid looks at the price of the strong dinar, brought about by the NBS measures. Press: Guca trumpets, crimes suspects "We are becoming family again", Radovan Karadzic's daughter Sonja is quoted on the front page. BLIC—This paper is interviewing Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac: "Mladic, surrender!". "Negotiations over Kovacevic trial in America", speculates about the case of Miladin Kovacevic. "Five days of trumpets and crazy fun", sums up the gist of the Dragacevo Brass Band Assembly, knows as the Guca festival. BORBA—"Belgrade has every right", this daily quotes and opinion piece from London's Guardian newspaper, arguing that Serbia ought not to be obstructed as it seeks the ICJ opinion over Kosovo. VECERNJE NOVOSTI—The coordinator of the National Hague Cooperation Council, Rasim Ljajic, is interviewed: "We're waiting for Ratko Mladic's mistake". "New ID cards unreadable", is about the new biometric personal documents. While the new IDs contain chips, it appears the chip readers are lacking. "Simmering cabbage, shining trumpets", reports from Guca. PRESS—This tabloid claims the United States have made the payment promised in case they received information leading to Radovan Karadzic's arrest: "USD 5mn paid for Radovan".
