Kosovo and related issues are once again all over the front pages of the Belgrade newspapers. ALO—The daily continues with stories from the Serb enclaves in Kosovo: "And what happens to us?". Press: Kosovo rally, Kosovo north Today's rally in the capital, in protest of the ethnic Albanians' unilaterally declared independence is reported under, "All of Serbia stops for rally", explaining that schools and many businesses are closed today. "Maniac who raped four boys arrested", is about a crime that took place in Krusevac. BLIC—"Diplomatic war for six more moths", looks at the situation in the wake of Kosovo's unilateral secession. NBS Governor Radovan Jelasic says, "Exchange rate will be normalized". A photograph from the funeral of the victims of the Novi Sad café fire is also on the front page, under the headline, "Novi Sad mute with pain". BORBA—Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is on the front page: "EU entices separatism". "Whose is our Kosovo", another article, dedicated to the privatization of companies in the province, wonders. "The winner takes most", is about the deadline for parties to submit their election financial reports, and be reimbursed. VECERNJE NOVOSTI—The newspaper leads with, "No state – a colony", and it has Kosovo in mind. Russian Nobel Prize winner Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn sent a message to the Kosovo Serbs: "Stay with your graves". GAZETA—An old anti-Milosevic opposition rally cry has been brought back in the headline, "Everyone, everyone…!", announcing today's Kosovo gathering in the capital. Another story says, "Serb saves the lives of 5 UNMIK soldiers", presumably, the paper meant, policemen. GLAS JAVNOSTI—Serb Radical Party (SRS) deputy leader Tomislav Nikolic is interviewed, and says about today's rally: "For the voice of all of Serbia to be heard". "Kosovo, no passaran!", the daily found an inventive way to inform its readership that Spain will not recognize Kosovo. DANAS—The government Kosovo Action Plan, which is, and will remain, a state secret, is being implemented in northern Kosovo: "Government plan arrives in Serb areas", is the headline to an article about the trip to the province undertaken yesterday by ministers Mladjan Dinkic, Dragan Djilas and Slobodan Milosavljevic. "State protest without President Tadic", announces today's rally, and underlying political message that the list of participants and those absent seems to send. KURIR—"Splitting the booty", is about those countries that decided to recognize Kosovo's unilateral declaration. "Novi Sad dressed in black", reports from the funerals of the café fire victims. POLITIKA—"Serbs battle for freedom of movement", the front page says about the trouble at the control posts on the administrative line with Kosovo. "No unity until unity rally", is about today's Kosovo Is Serbia protest gathering. "Proud and ashamed to be European", is a report about Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic's speech yesterday at the European Parliament. PRESS—"Russians arrive to Kosovo?!", the tabloid seems dumbfounded on the front page. It says that "Russian special forces officers in plain clothes took part in the removal of two checkpoints Tuesday", and bases its report on Albanian sources in the province.
