The Serbian Army (VS) is beginning a week-long marking of its day today. The army, just as the Serbian state, has chosen the holiday of Sretenje, February 15, as its day. "We were hoping to remind the citizens of our history. We played classic Serbian marches such as Aleksandar the First, The King's Guard, The Drina March," Djurov explained. Today, the representative army orchestra took it to the streets of Belgrade in a 45 minute parade, while similar events took place in Niš and Novi Sad, the orchestra's conductor Aleksandar Đurov told journalists.
