The draw for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa took place yesterday in Durban. Serbia, who narrowly failed to qualify for next year’s European Championships, have been drawn in one of the toughest groups – Group 7 - alongside the 2006 runners-up France, Romania, Lithuania, Austria and the Faroe Islands. World Cup draw: Serbia to face France Europe will have thirteen representatives at the finals, with the nine group winners qualifying automatically, while the eight best runners-up from the nine groups will contest play-offs to decide the remaining four places.
