Hague indictee’s family leaves military villa

Ojdanić, who is currently on trial before the Hague Tribunal for war crimes in Kosovo, was in Belgrade on temporary release last month, and was not allowed to enter the villa located in the Belgrade suburb of Senjak.

The orders to keep Ojdanić, a former army chief of staff, out of the facility were issued by Defense Minister Dragan Šutanovac.

Ojdanić’s wife purchased another 322 square meter villa in 2002, which he had received from the military two years earlier.

Until yesterday, the Ojdanić family was living in a residence meant for the families of military chiefs of staff.
