Tolimir arrest circumstances unclear
“There are two contradicting statements, from Tolimir and Lončar, and we are left to believe either one or the other, but it is still not clear why he was taken to the Republic of Srpska. There is no security risk in arresting a Hague indictee. Slobodan Milošević was arrested and taken to The Hague, and nothing happened, so I think that the talk about security risks before arresting Hague indictees in not valid,” Dragišić said.“I don’t see how arresting Tolimir in Serbia could have negative effects on the Serbian Government, I don’t see why they would arrest him here and transfer him to the Republic of Srpska,” he said.
