The largest mosque in the Republic of Srpska, Azizija, which was burnt to the ground in 1992, was reopened yesterday. The mosque was built in 1862 by Turkish Sultan Abdul Aziz, and its reopening was set to coincide with the anniversary of its mining and destruction.
