"Serbia must be able to respond to acquisition of missiles"

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic says Serbia "has offers for the Russian defense industry," and "must have a response in case somebody is acquiring missiles."

"Serbia must be able to respond to acquisition of missiles"

"When it comes to that issue, we are small compared to the Russian Federation, but in this way, we could both achieve even better results," Vucic said in Moscow.

Last weekend, the Serbian prime minister said the country "must consider its response to the ballistic missiles Croatia is equipping its army with," and added, "we don't want conflicts anywhere, ever."

Speaking on Tuesday, Vucic repeated that "it is necessary to be prepared."

"We are numerically a small country, but we must protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity. If somebody in our surroundings is acquiring launchpads for ballistic missiles, Serbia must have a solution," said Vucic.
