BEIJING Tomislav Nikolic will continue his visit to China on Wednesday and visit Hangzhou, where he will meet with the governor of Zhejiang province. The Serbian president will also take part in an investment forum and visit a high-tech industrial zone, the Geely car plant and Alibaba Group. Serbian president continues visit to China Nikolic said Tuesday in Bejing that all Chinese state leaders he met with, especially President Xi Jinping, pledged to "strongly support Serbia's efforts to raise itself up." At a reception hosted by the Serbian Embassy in Beijing, Nikolic said the foundations laid for Serbian-Chinese cooperation are so strong that "it can only grow and develop." Building even better relations with China is good for the Serbian people and for Serbia as a whole, added the Serbian president, noting that the friendly nation of China is yet to prove its strength to Serbia. He recalled that China has changed leaders but never its position toward Serbia, and expressed hope Serbia will never again change its attitude toward China with a change of government. The reception for President Nikolic, his wife Dragica and the Serbian delegation was organized by the charge d'affairs at the Serbian embassy, Tatjana Panajotovic Cvetkovic. Representatives of the Serbian diaspora and the Chinese business, public and cultural life were in attendance. China's Vice Foreign Minister Song Tao was also present. Nikolić said Tuesday in Bejing that all Chinese state leaders he met with, especially President Xi Jinping, pledged to "strongly support Serbia's efforts to raise itself up."

At a reception hosted by the Serbian Embassy in Beijing, Nikolić said the foundations laid for Serbian-Chinese cooperation are so strong that "it can only grow and develop."
