“We should use past experience to strengthen Serbia”

BELGRADE Serbia is today facing the same pressures, troubles and problems imposed by great powers as during the time of Prince Milos Obrenovic, Aleksandar Vucic says. “It is our job and need to try to use some of Milos’s knowledge to strengthen Serbia but also to keep the walls and keep as many allies as possible and build modern, progressive and prosperous Serbia,” the first deputy prime minister said on Sunday while opening the reconstructed Residence of Prince Milos in Topcider Park in Belgrade. “We should use past experience to strengthen Serbia” A new exhibition was opened today in the Residence of Prince Milos on the occasion of the 198th anniversary of the Second Serbian Uprising. Vucic reiterated that Prince Milos had shown skills of an extraordinary diplomat and politician and managed to bring prosperity to Serbia during his rule.
