Serbia seeks "new approach, frank partnership with EU"

BELGRADE Deputy PM for EU Integrations Suzana Grubjesic said on Tuesday that the new government would adopt "a new approach to its EU integrations". It will based on "frank partnership with Brussels and responsible implementation of internal reforms", she said during her meeting with OSCE Mission to Serbia head Dimitrios Kypreos. The process does not boil down to merely meeting the conditions set out by Brussels, but rather to the implementing of internal reforms, which will secure better life for the Serbian citizens in all domains,” Grubjesic underlined. Kypreos congratulated Grubjesic on her election to the office, voicing OSCE's readiness to assist Serbia in implementing reforms that are necessary for the country to reach the EU standards - "as OSCE and EU are committed to the same values", the government said in a statement after the meeting in Belgrade.
