Patients in danger due to license plates ban

The Josif Vasic Health Center near Gnjilane is completely paralyzed because ambulances are banned from using the Serbian license plates, local TV Plus reports. “The health center is faced with a major problem, as 11 patients have to be transported to the central Serbian town of Vranje for dialysis treatments and then back,” the health centre head Jelica Krcmarevic said on Thursday evening. She stressed that the Kosovo policemen at the Bela Zemlja crossing on the Gnjilane - Bujanovac road had warned them that they would not allow the health center to transport the patients in improvised ambulances as the vehicle had not been registered for that purpose. “For these patients, the dialysis means life.
