MPs discuss draft budget The proposed budget envisages revenues totaling RSD 750bn, expenditures RSD 890bn, and deficit amounting to RSD 140bn. Unlike in the previous years, no problems are expected in the passing of the budget bill, as all parties of the ruling coalition have announced they would back this most important financial act. The opposition is uniform in its criticism of the draft, including the objections that the revenues are overestimated, while the expenditures are underestimated, as well as that the budget is a consequence of a flawed economic policy. Besides the budget, the MPs will also discuss amendments to the laws on budget system, excises, legal entity income tax, mandatory social insurance contributions, tax procedure and tax administration, compulsory traffic insurance, public roads, road transport security and the Environmental Protection Fund.
