The Serb Radical Party (SRS) claims that KFOR has violated UN Security Council Resolution 1244. The SRS has requested the government to call an emergency UN Security Council session because KFOR troops entered the territory of central Serbia, thus violating UNSC Resolution 1244. Opposition party accuses KFOR of violating UNSC resolution “It is shameful and scandalous that (Serbian President Boris) Tadic’s government is agreeing removal of barricades with the occupation army and helping completion of the Albanian state while they are on the other hand deceiving Serbs into thinking they are protecting their interests and the interests of Serbia,“ the SRS stated in an announcement. The party added that the president's “treacherous authorities” had given up on Kosovo for the sake of the EU and NATO accession, the organizations that the Radicals believe are leading a “criminal policy toward Serbia”.
