Democratic Party (DS) deputy leader Jelena Trivan stated on Friday that Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy leader Aleksandar Vucic was spreading lies. “It is a denial of reality to say that people in Serbia live well and pay services easily, but everything that Vucic said is not even close to truth. The DS believes that is shameful to use the difficult situation in the country to spread lies and gain support from the citizens in such a manner,” Trivan told Tanjug. DS deputy leader: SNS spreads lies She refuted Vucic's statement that the electricity price increased 15 times in the last 10 years, saying that the truth was that the electricity cost was up by 5.3 times. “Moreover, Vucic stated today that the prices of water and heating were up by nearly 10 and seven times, but the truth is that the regulated prices have increase by 3.5 times until today, which is considerably less compared to the increase of salaries and pensions.
