Serbian Army CoGS Lt. Gen. Miloje Miletic will today take part in the 4th Balkan Countries Chiefs of Defense Conference in Brasov, a town in Romania. The Serbian Defense Ministry announced in a statement that the conference will be held within the Regional forum of Balkan chiefs of staff, the aim of which is to strengthen the existing and find new mechanisms that will help the joint fight against challenges, risks and threats in the Balkan region. Army chief in Romania for conference Army chiefs of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey and Romania will take part at the conference, alongside the deputy chairman of NATO Military Committee, chairman of EU Military Committee and commander of NATO Joint Forces in Naples. Their Slovenian and Croatian counterparts have also been invited to take part as observers, the statement reads.
