Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic says that he is satisfied with the European Commission’s progress report on Serbia. “Serbia has made clear progress towards achieving its central strategic priority of membership in the EU,” Jeremic said. Jeremic satisfied with EC report He stressed that, for the first time, the report had not assessed whether the political will for EU membership existed, but rather what had been done in the European integration process. “No one is questioning any more Serbia’s will to become an EU member and we can be very pleased with this report,” Jeremic said. He stressed that a lot still needed to be done, however, in order for Serbia to fulfill all the conditions for EU membership. “We will stick to this road and we are determined to move ahead,” the foreign minister emphasized.
