Serb Kosovo policemen from Kosovska Mitrovica will be sending reports on their work to EULEX police, North Police Station chief Milija Milosevic said today. Serb policemen to work with EULEX After UNMIK handed over its authority in police, customs and court matters to EULEX, the question was asked of whether police in North Kosovo would be under the command of the EU mission. Milosevic said that he met today with EULEX police commissioner Rainer Kuehn regarding the current activities of the KPS, specifically in the north. “We did not make any concrete agreement, because Kuehn was visiting all police stations in northern Kosovo today," Milosevic said, adding that he expects EULEX to discuss cooperation with the KPS early next year. Milosevic said that “work will go ahead as usual” in the meantime, adding that he expects that needed, EULEX members would offer help to the KPS, even though this police mission has the obligation only to oversee and advise.
