French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner has congratulated President Boris Tadic and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic on their “great election victory.” According to a statement from the French Foreign Ministry, Kouchner “voiced his hope that a government would be formed soon that would unite all the forces that desire Serbia’s swift integration into Europe, by returning the hand offered by the EU on April 29 when it signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with Serbia.” Kouchner congratulates DS on election result “The Serbian President and his minister said that such a government could be formed very soon,” the statement adds. France wants “the will that the citizens expressed on May 11 for Serbia’s EU integration to be respected,” Kouchner underlined.
