A DSS official says Boris Tadic is "crudely misleading citizens" with his latest statements. Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica's adviser Branislav Ristovojevic was commenting for Beta news agency Serbian president and the Democratic Party (DS) leader's statement that the functional separation proposal – which Minister for Kosovo Slobodan Samardzic submitted – was aiming to partition Kosovo. DSS: Tadic misleads Serbians "This is the third time in a short period that the president of the republic is directly misleading the citizens of Serbia for his own party interests," Ristivojevic said. "It is a brazen manipulation [to say] that Samardzic is advocating a partition of Kosovo, since the principle that the minister works by is: Kosovo is Serbia, and so it shall always remain," the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) official was quoted. "Since the president of the republic is misleading citizens for the sake of his new party coalition Canak-DS-G17 Plus, he has by this act ceased to be the citizens' president, and became the party president of his new coalition," Ristivojevic concluded.
