Musharraf was due to meet top Bosnian officials, members of the tripartite state presidency and the prime minister in Sarajevo Friday.

Several bilateral agreements, including those on cooperation in the defence industry and air traffic, were expected to be signed between senior Pakistani and Bosnian representatives during his visit.

Musharraf will also address Bosnia-Herzegovina's state parliament and Bosnian businessmen.

He is to conclude the first day of his visit Friday by presenting his memoir, "In the Line of Fire" at a ceremony at the National Theatre in Sarajevo.

On Saturday, Musharraf is to meet Bosnia's religious leaders, before departing for the northern city of Tuzla to meet Bosnian doctors and other medical workers who were deployed in Pakistan on a humanitarian mission after an earthquake in October 2005.

He would also visit the eastern town of Srebrenica, where Bosnian Serb troops massacred up to 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men during the country's 1992-1995 war.

Musharraf was to visit Spain and Poland before arriving in Bosnia-Herzegovina and would travel to Turkey from Sarajevo.
