NOVI SAD The police in Novi Sad late on Thursday arrested a 48-year-old Macedonian national who had an Interpol arrest warrant issued against him in Skopje. The man has been identified as Zoran Bozinovski - a journalist from Kumanovo, accused in his country of involvement in espionage, extortion, and membership in a criminal enterprise. Fugitive "Macedonian spy" arrested in Serbia Novi Sad TV reported that Bozinovski was "part of a group exposed several months ago, when high-ranking Macedonian government and security services officials were arrested on charges of having spied for Greece." The police in Novi Sad confirmed the arrest and said that the suspect had been detained pending his extradition.
