More than 30 ultra-nationalists arrested

Police Director Milorad Veljovic said that police have arrested more than 30 members of ultra-nationalists right wing organizations in Belgrade on Sunday. Veljovic said that measures will be taken against them for disturbing public order and peace. More than 30 ultra-nationalists arrested In accordance with the decision for prohibiting public gatherings, the police stopped a planned rally by ultra-nationalist organizations in the center of Belgrade. A smaller group of members of the Movement 1389 organization walked through the city’s main pedestrian zone and stopped in front of the Philosophy Faculty at about 11:00 CET, where they had planned to hold a rally to celebrate the cancellation of the Pride Parade. The main pedestrian zone and other prominent public locations in the city have a large police presence. 1389 members also walked to the Saint Sava church, but there were no incidents. (Tanjug)
