Coordinator for the fight against human trafficking, Mitar Djuraskovic, said that there are many different forms of human trafficking present in Serbia. He said that in many other countries, only sexual exploitation is present, while in Serbia, there are different forms of exploitation, such as forcing people to commit crimes, trafficking children who will panhandle, forcing people to work at a business or home, child pornography, and trafficking children used to commit crimes. "Different forms of human trafficking exist” The only kind of trafficking that has not been reported in Serbia is organ trafficking, though it was recorded to have happened in Kosovo in 1999, Djuraskovic said, reminding of the “yellow house” case in which former Hague chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte described in her book the kidnapping of people and the harvesting of organs to be sold on the European black market. Djuraskovic said that all larger criminal groups that dealt with organized human trafficking in Serbia gave been broken up, adding that there are no places in the country where these topics are taboo anymore, like they used to be in Novi Pazar.
