The Kosovo Police Service (KPS) says that six cases of theft of electricity cables have been reported in Vucitrn. The police state that they have searched a number of waste material storage depots, though they have thus far been unable to identify the culprits. The high voltage cables were removed from six lamp posts in one street in the village. The KPS has called for the help of the public in the Mitrovica region in order to track down the culprits whom they qualified as “endangering lives and public security.“
