FM Vuk Jeremic has spoken by phone with Hillary Clinton about the case of fugitive Serbian student Miladin Kovacevic. “I am terribly sorry about the whole case and my thoughts are with the Steinhauer family,” said Jeremic, but repeated that the Serbian Constitution did not allow for the extradition of Serbian nationals to other countries, say U.S. media. “However, I can assure Senator Clinton and the citizens of New York that my government is fully determined to cooperate with the U.S. authorities,” he added.
