A Serbian Army team searching military facilities has allowed a B92 crew to join them. The army has for some time now conducted surprise inspections of military bases and other army premises, in order to make sure that none of the remaining four Hague fugitives are hiding there. B92 with troops looking for Hague fugitives The troops involved in this are also making sure that other irregularities is not taking place at the army facilities. B92 is the first media outlet that was allowed to accompany soldiers and film one of these inspections. The condition set before our crew was not to reveal the identity of soldiers taking part, and not to disclose the exact location of the structure searched. What we can reveal is that the search in question took place in an army depot near Belgrade. The Army says that members of the military police who take part in the raids find out about the location of their assignment shortly before they leave. The soldiers were organized in what they call outside, inside, search and arrest teams. The outside and inside team blocked the structure from both sides of the fence. The soldiers first presented a search warrant, and then identified all those present at the facility, confiscating their mobile phones. The troops carried detailed maps of the structure, and asked employees to hand over the keys to all the rooms. They broke down several doors, after those in charge of the premises said they did not have the keys. The search lasted some two hours. Besides the debris, humid rooms and cobwebs, no one was found.
