Carla Del Ponte has said that there is no doubt that former acting Kosovo Prime Minister Ramus Haradinaj is guilty of war crimes.

Carla Del Ponte has said that there is no doubt that former acting Kosovo Prime Minister Ramus Haradinaj is guilty of war crimes. “We have evidence that proves this,” the Hague chief prosecutor said in an interview yesterday for the German weekly Spiegel, reports Prague-based Radio Free Europe. Del Ponte: Haradinaj is guilty “I am losing witnesses on all sides in the case against Haradinaj,” she said. “They are being seriously threatened, and in this respect the (ethnic) Albanians more so than the Serbs,” Del Ponte said. According to Reuters, Haradinaj has been given temporary release from prison and is presently in Kosovo, where he is taking part in the campaign for all-level elections that are scheduled for next month, a fact which infuriated Del Ponte.
