Serbian dinar hits record low in 2014

The Serbian dinar (RSD) on Friday continues its two-day slide against the euro (EUR) by losing 0.1 percent and reaching the exchange rate of 116.1253.

Serbian dinar hits record low in 2014

The dinar is one percent down against the euro month-on-month, and 4.2 percent year-on-year.

On Thursday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate strengthened by 0.6 percent and stands at RSD 85.3298 for USD 1.

The Serbian national currency is 0.7 percent down against the dollar month-on-month, and 3.6 percent year-on-year.

Since the beginning of 2014, the central bank has sold a total of EUR 340 million in order to prevent excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
