According to Serbia's state office for statistics, Serbia's GDP grew by 1.8 percent in 2010, after a three-month review of the real growth of economic activity, The National Bank of Serbia said the GDP rose 0.4 percent in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the same period the year before, 1.7 percent in the second quarter, 3.1 percent in the third quarter and 1.7 percent in the fourth quarter. The review showed the GDP dropped 3.5 percent in 2009. According to seasonally adjusted data, industry output grew one percent in February 2011, and 5.8 percent compared to the same month last year. Year-to-year industrial growth is primarily the result of increased production of non-metallic minerals, electric energy, basic metals, products of rubber and plastic, and motor vehicles and trailers.

Year-to-year industrial growth is primarily the result of increased production of non-metallic minerals, electric energy, basic metals, products of rubber and plastic, and motor vehicles and trailers.
