Govt. adopts bill on consumer protection

The Serbian government on Thursday's session adopted a bill on consumer protection and forwarded it to the parliament for an expedited review procedure. The new law will be in force as of January 1, 2011. The government on Thursday also adopted draft laws on shipping and ports in the internal waters, on the transportation of hazardous cargo, amendments to the Law on Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment, and amendments to the Law on Protection against Noise in Living Environment.
