Serbian currency set to gain more ground

The Serbian dinar (RSD) will gain 0.29 percent in value against the euro on Monday. The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced on Sunday in Belgrade that the mean exchange rate will thus be set at RSD 104.6 for one euro (EUR). Serbian currency set to gain more ground Since the beginning of this year, the central bank bought EUR 10mn and sold EUR 1.755bn in the inter-bank hard currency market in order to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate. On January 4, one euro was worth RSD 94.9, while the Serbian currency plundered to its lowest value on August 3, when the exchange rate was at RSD 106.6.

Since the beginning of this year, the central bank bought EUR 10mn and sold EUR 1.755bn in the inter-bank hard currency market in order to alleviate excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.

On January 4, one euro was worth RSD 94.9, while the Serbian currency plundered to its lowest value on August 3, when the exchange rate was at RSD 106.6.
